My First Mission Trip
biggest thank you for having that awesome photo contest! We also had a vision clinic set up for people who needed glasses. It was last year that God first gave me a burden for the people of Colombia. Till the next stop it was another eight hours. After spending three weeks there it made me really think about my life if you were a crusader in the 2nd crusade and how blessed I am to have so much. Our prayer is that a heart is stirred by a photo of a sweet Cambodian girl, or an older missionary getting their hands dirty to help feed the hungry, or the joy of a homeless man who just heard the gospel; and that person will. Description of Photo: It takes faith to remain steadfast when both your parents are martyred for their faith in the Lord. While we had crafts, sports, and game time together with the other groups, we did the Bible classes in our own individual groups. He changed how I ove others.

Shared By: Andrea Location: Uganda, description of Photo: I am grateful for the opportunity to meet these precious children in Mbale, Uganda this past year. Thank you so so much for supporting. And I ask for you to keep these children in your prayers so that they dont forget that God loves them.
While in Panama, we lived in a jungle tribe building relationships with people and serving them. A year ago I traveled down nearly to the equator to serve with a team of 9 young people. The children in my group were from the Digital Divide Theory 14-16 year of age. Thanks to the Captured in HIS image photo contest, I was able to go on a missions trip to Panama City Beach during my spring break in April. Our main goal of the contest is to promote missions and encourage everyone to keep going! We were able to touch the lives of people who are in dire need, not only physically, but also spiritually through the love of Jesus Christ! Ambition, glory-seeking, tower-of-Babel-building, are all very subtle ploys of the enemy. Amanda went on a mission trip with Christian Student Fellowship to Panama City Beach! Name of school- Overcomers Thank you in advance on behalf of these children! Devin went back to the Dominican Republic in June 2013! Damaris gifted her 250 to help Bianca go to Mexico!
